My trip to Europe with my mom will forever be the highlight of my life. We made so many friends, ate the most amazing food, laughed hysterically and got wonderfully lost in new cities together. It was also during our trip that I realized something was seriously wrong with my mom’s health. The moment we landed back in the states, I took her to the hospital and 3 days later they told us she had brain cancer. Within 4 months she was gone but I am forever grateful and will never forget our fabulous trips together.
