From classic to flirty, it’s fun to be able to express your own fabulous style like these beautiful gals. I picked up my b&w wrap dress from F21 for a whopping $28. Not too shabby, eh?
When heading off on your next adventure think one thing – layers! Whether you are halfway across the country or halfway across the world, you never know what you will run into and it’s best to have things that are easy to mix n match. For me, I always bring a few staple light weight jackets and tunics because they are super easy to layer. These are also great to go from a day-to-night look since most of the time you are out for the entire day exploring!
Hair be gone! One of the best ways to freshen up your look, or slightly reinvent your style, is a new hair cut. For me, that meant taking off about 8 inches; for you it can just mean adding layers, texture or color. I chose the long bob because it is alllll the rage right now- but still long enough to put up in a pony tail or bun. That and I didn’t cry because I look like a boy. So get out there and try something fun to freshen up your hair, it will always grow back! 😉
One of my favorite jacket’s for winter is the classic trench coat. For one, they never go out of style and can be recycled for years & seasons to come, and two it’s the perfect way to polish off any outfit. I paired this find from H&M with a (pleather) skirt I found at F21 for $22 and a striped leotard I threw under for only $9! You can also pair this with skinny jeans and stilettos for a completely different feel. The trench coat is the perfect way to get a classic look without all the fuss!
The holidays are well on their way ladies and that means it’s time to dress up! With work functions, friend gatherings, and the most important of them all being New Years (aka my birthday), there are so many fun options out there. I found these amazing pieces in the Savvy department at Nordstrom which would be perfect for any event. Even better is they are all under $100. Pair these options with your favorite stiletto’s, cocktail ring & clutch, and you’ll be known as best dressed instead of the gal that fell off Santa’s lap… 😉 Happy holidays!
