Sam Edelman Lucille ankle booties

Ankle booties are all the rage right now, especially because they flatter almost every leg type! Most knee high or mid calf boots have a 14′-15′ inch circumference so unless you have little calves, it can be tough to find the right fit. With ankle booties you can have your cake and eat it too! These are perfect to dress down with rolled up skinny jeans or embellish with a fun dress and leather jacket. I picked up these sassy little booties at Nordstrom Rack for $100 which originally retailed for $160.

2014 Holiday parties

The holidays are well on their way ladies and that means it’s time to dress up! With work functions, friend gatherings, and the most important of them all being New Years (aka my birthday), there are so many fun options out there. I found these amazing pieces in the Savvy department at Nordstrom which would be perfect for any event. Even better is they are all under $100. Pair these options with your favorite stiletto’s, cocktail ring & clutch, and you’ll be known as best dressed instead of the gal that fell off Santa’s lap… 😉 Happy holidays!

My steal of the week – Steve Madden Elusion flats

I found these saucy white Steve Madden Elusion flats for $30 at Macy’s. Even better is they are still full price on the Steve Madden website! I paired these flats with a NY leotard I found at Forever 21 for $12 and a pencil skirt I found at H&M for $24. The inscribing on the shirt picks up the white in the shoes and I added a leopard clutch for a pop of print. All this for under $70 bucks! IMG_3159W

The “I love your bag” bag.

I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on this tote bag. The best part is I only spent $34 on it at H&M! With fall the cognac color is everywhere and with the two tone color it looks way more expensive than it really is. This can also function as your work or travel bag to hold your Ipad, makeup bag, bottle of wine, umbrella, shake weight- you name it, it fits!

It’s all Greek to me!

Last month I had the absolute privilege of visiting one of the most beautiful countries. I have always been inspired by Greek culture and mythology- not to mention the fashion! The most notable being the Greek key symbol which signifies “eternal life”. This is famously used in almost every Versace design and has long time been an inspiration in the fashion world. While shopping for my trip, I came across this Free People top which immediately made me think of Greece. This top set me back $80 on sale, but with the detail, embroidery and memories, I couldn’t pass it up. OPA!
