Fall Fashion 2014: Faux Fur

With fall right around the corner, now is the best time to invest in a faux fur piece for your wardrobe. This look is everywhere for the fall/winter season and can be recycled for years to come. You can pair a fur vest with a boho tunic and some wide leg trousers, or get sassy with some disco pants (you know the ones) and a fun fur jacket. Faux Fur is the best way to be both affordable and kind to our furry friends while still looking chic!

Fit!

We have all had that moment where we try the new “it” style and it just looks awful. Even if you think it’s the cutest trend ever, if it doesn’t compliment your figure, don’t wear it. I for example, will never be able to rock white skinny jeans (even though I try them on every single time I see them). Stick to styles that outline and compliment your shape. Not only will you feel more confident with what you are wearing but you are also guaranteed to look fabulous!

Have fun!

Fashion isn’t meant to be snooty and boring, it’s supposed to be fun! Step outside of your normal routine and try new colors, patterns, and styles. The way you dress let’s people know what you are all about, so make it personal!

Get your flirt on!

Every woman has a best asset no matter what your body shape and size may be, so I encourage you to flirt and show it off. Whether you have a tiny waist, a great booty, or ample cleavage, pick out your best feature and rock it. Selecting colors to highlight your appearance, eyes, and pigment are also great ways to be flirty.

Gotta have Flare!

The best way to refresh your wardrobe or spice up an outfit is to accessorize, or as I’d like to call it, add some flare! I took a black romper and added a belt, clutch, and wrap- which you can alter to your own taste. It’s a really easy and inexpensive way to dress up a simple outfit or revamp an old one.
